Beryl Etheline Dayes Halverson

- Sadly left us on July 29th, 2015.

Beryl Etheline Dayes Halverson, 71, of Hooper, Utah died July 29th 2015 in Banning, CA after complications from Progressive Supranuclear Palsey.

 

She is survived by her five children Valerie Gail Woodruff, Laura Irene Poulson of Ogden, Utah, Gary  Andrew Halverson of Banning, CA and Howard Brad Halverson, Amelia Ann Halverson of Brooklyn, NY.

She is also survived by her brother Albert Rudolph Dayes of California, sister Doris Nemeroff of Salt Lake City, and four grandchildren  Jaden R. Poulson, Harleigh Q. Poulson, Dorian Woodruff and Daphne Woodruff. She is predeceased by her mother Mrytle M. Sullivan Dayes and father Albert R. Dayes. 

 

Beryl was a member of the LDS church. She was born in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, NY went to Lakeside Grammar School in Merrick, NY, Calhoon High School in Merrick, NY. She attended BYU Hawaii and gradutated from BYU, Provo in Utah. Beryl taught grade school in South Carolina and Ogden, Utah. She was married in 1971 to Howard Val Halverson and later divorced. She lived in Hooper, Utah for forty years where she ran her own cake business, The Cake Cottage and later worked at DTSI with developmentally disabled adults until her retirement.

 

She loved gardening, crafts, and the arts. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
